At Rosie's Birdhouses and Wood Art, we make quality handmade birdhouses that birds love to live in! We also craft other handmade wood decor ranging from beachy to rustic and everything in between.
I've always loved to watch the birds in my yard. I couldn't find a birdhouse that was quality made like I wanted, so I tried my hand at it and found that I really enjoy the process.

Starting with Bluebird nesting boxes, I soon branched out to other options. Since I started with Bluebird houses, I wanted to expand on from that point. I tried round-bottom nesting boxes and found that the birds love those just as well. I also used "burned" wood to make interesting dimensional designs.

Living on the coast of North Carolina, I am always in my flip-flops. One day I took them and started making some really cool designs with them. These look great hanging on the fence!

Who is Rosie?
I knew that as soon as I retired I was going to get a dog. I wanted to give a rescue dog a better chance at life. I wanted a dog to keep me company, but not just any dog. I wanted a constant companion and friend. It was love at first sight when I saw Rosie in her kennel at the shelter. She is always "supervising" my work and telling me to keep busy!
